What is ANSI?
ANSI
stands for the American National Standards Institute developed the BIFMA
standard for evaluating safety, durability, and the structural adequacy of the
specified furniture, independent of construction materials in the commercial
furniture in the institutional and commercial industries. BIFMA is ANSI
accredited to conforms to ANSI Essential Requirements, and therefore includes:
